October 2023 I checked in after reading online reviews. Despite dropping in late at night, I was able to stay. There's a supermarket within walking distance, so food was easy to find. The room was a Japanese-style room, giving it the feel of a traditional Japanese inn. It even had a futon, which made it feel less like a traditional Japanese inn, in a good way. The price was also cheaper than a traditional inn, which was helpful. The service was a little brusque, but not enough to bother me. (Since I dropped in early, it's possible that I upset them.)

It's conveniently located near a supermarket, a Mister Ramen restaurant in the same shopping center, a roadside station, and a hot spring (alkaline spring water). The staff are all friendly and it's a very comfortable rider's house. I hope to visit again. 🎐P.S.🎐 The event will be held at Minori-no-Oka Park (see separate page). Feel free to come by on a Cub or other bike!

Even though I was caught in the rain and got soaked, you were so kind and helpful, I'm very grateful. The room was clean and had a lock, and there were all kinds of things I could use, like a microwave, hair dryer, and even chain oil. I was thinking of making my first overnight trip into a rider's house, so I'm really glad I was able to have that experience with Red SUN! Thank you also for the sticker! It stuck perfectly on my sticker 🫶 I couldn't go to Tsunoshima Bridge because of the rain, so I'll come back for more! Thank you so much!

I stayed in a private room. Other than the lack of a TV, it was a typical lodging facility with no meals included. The futon was fluffy and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The toilet was comfortable with a heated toilet seat, and there was a refrigerator, microwave, and water heater, and the washing machine was free to use. There was also a hot spring with good quality water just a 10-minute walk away, two supermarkets, and a delicious izakaya where you could enjoy Yamaguchi's fine sake. The price was more than enough. I would definitely stay here again if I'm heading to Yamaguchi.

This was my first time staying at a rider's house. Since I was the only one there, it was quiet. The room, bathroom, toilet, etc. were all kept spotlessly clean. The futon was also clean, so I had a comfortable stay. The TV only showed BS. There is an izakaya (Japanese pub) right across the street, but the menu is limited. There are also few local dishes, but if you're okay with that, I think the price is reasonable. Overall, the value for money is good, so I would recommend Red Sun over a guesthouse.
